Purpose: The flourishing of political parties and currents is one of the signs of the degree of development in societies. In contemporary Iran and since the formation of the constitutional movement, political currents have gone through many ups and downs and it can be said that political currents in Iran after the Islamic Revolution have not yet reached the stage of institutionalization and stability. A characteristic feature of political currents in Iran is the divergence and division among political currents in recent decades, and this can be one of the reasons for the instability and cross-sectional and seasonal activity of political parties in Iran. Therefore, the necessity of leading research seeks to answer the question of how factors and divergence among political currents in Iran after the victory of the Islamic Revolution can be analyzed? And what are the scenarios for the advancement of political currents in Iran?Method: To answer this question, the method of causal-layer analysis, which is one of the qualitative methods in futures research, has been used.Findings: The research findings indicate that this divergence is due to a wide range of reasons from the level of causal systems (from the institutionalization of power to the formation of parties as elitist initiatives), worldview and discourse (from charismatic political authority to culture). Subsidiary-follower politics to myth-metaphor (Iranian individualism to belief in a strong state-weak society) can be analyzed.Conclusions: Three scenarios for the future of Iranian political currents can be considered: integration of currents as the security valve of the political system, the collapse of political currents in the traditional form, integration and consolidation in new social movements (virtualized parties).

In an effort to present a new analysis of the Islamic Revolution, the question ascends as to whether the Islamic Revolution can be considered a freedom or emancipation-seeking Revolution? It is assumed that the Islamic Revolution was the renaissance of the Iranian nation to raise the cause of freedom, and emancipation in both two positive and negative aspects has been expressed. The present research is carried out in a descriptive-analytical manner and its findings show that the Islamic Revolution of Iran has mainly focused on four major issues (negative liberty); domestic tyranny, foreign dominance, anti-Islam measures of the Shah's regime and economic decline, and the threat to people's livelihoods. On the contrary, this Revolution has articulated the favorable response to these issues (positive liberty) by establishing and realizing values such as religious democracy, freedom, efforts to preserve independence and national sovereignty, as well as efficiency with an emphasis on justice and deprivation.

The present paper is an attempt to study the following question: What are the impacts of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran on the formation of the current Islamic awakening and preparation of grounds for the modern Islamic civilization? Through a documental study and descriptive-analytical approach the following results have been found: the starting point of any constructive development is awakening and the Islamic Revolution is the continuation of Islamic awaking and is its second wave. Since the Islamic Revolution has a civilizational generation and survival, the prospect of the political system stemming from this Revolution in its fourth decade will be civilization-building. Due to moving towards building a civilization and its achievements in the individual, domestic, regional and global arenas, Islamic Republic of Iran has prepared the grounds for the continuation of the third wave of the Islamic awakening. Therefore, a triangular relationship exists between civilization-building of the Islamic Revolution, the system based on it and the Islamic awakening which is inspired by its ramification and the survival of the Islamic Revolution itself. Under the present global circumstances at this historical juncture, today’s Islamic awakening, which is inspired by the awakening of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, by relying on the civilization-building capacities of the fourth decade of the Islamic Revolution, can strengthen and fulfill the increasing demand of the Muslim world for a modern Islamic civilization.

Some Revolutions have significant internal political, social, economic and cultural impacts, as well as major regional and international consequences. The Islamic Revolution of Iran, as a major and phenomenal social Revolution, has had important internal, regional and international consequences. One of the international outcomes of the Islamic Revolution has been its impact on political and social sciences, especially on theorizing Revolutions. In this paper we have focused on the impact of the Islamic Revolution on theories of Revolution, in three areas: causes, processes and outcomes of Revolutions. Using Thomas Kuhn’s theory of scientific Revolutions as our theoretical framework, we hypothesized that: the occurrence of the Islamic Revolution of Iran has had significant theoretical impact on the sociological theories of Revolutions. This hypothesis, was broken into three main hypotheses and some sub-hypotheses, and was tested using thematic content analysis. For this purpose, 57 English papers about the Iranian Revolution gathered from international journals were analyzed. The research revealed that the Islamic Revolution of Iran indeed has had significant impact on the theories related to the causes, processes and outcomes of Revolutions.

The Islamic Revolution of Iran was an extensive movement and a general rising of Iranian nation to overthrow Pahlavi regime and establish Islamic Republic which never was limited to a special area, city or district and all of the people played a role in it's victory. the people of Ilam along with other areas of the country revolted against Pahlavi Despotism and expressed their opposition by rallies, demonstration and strikes. The role of religious leaders on the one hand and educators and intellectuals on the other hand was very important. Alliance between them led to organize demonstrations and strikes that repeated every day during 1357, the events of Shahrivar that some people were killed brought in most of the people to the street because of demographic composition. Eventually, the alliance and integration against Pahlavi regime led to decline of regime and establishment of the Revolution institutions.

This article using this method, is going to Compare Islamic Revolution of Iran (1979) & Jan. 25th Revolution in Egypt, and assumes that without such an analysis, it’s not possible to understand & explain Egypt Revolution. Theoretical Background of article is theory of Political opportunity from sociological framework for analysis of social movements. By Application of these theories, author argues that Islamic Revolution of Iran, provided a suitable political opportunity for Revolutionary movement in Egypt & decrees as its costs & length in the way to victory. But Mubarak Regime, Egypt military forces & U.S. by learning from Iran’s Revolution, try their best to limit political opportunities for Islamists to conquer the whole political sphere of Egypt & manage the transition from Social Islamism toward Political Islamism.

Islamic movements, today, are within the most active movements in the world. This gropes believe that globe and globalization has close relation with religion. Thus, we can observe increasing importance of thoughts and religious institutions throughout the world. It is so that some called 1992 the year of Islamic awakening. While in 1964westernersand easterners believed the Islam could not counter against modernity or modernization. Also in 1979 United States Claimed that Islamic awakening ruins the World and Muslim actives engaged in war that according to sairus wens, foreign minister of the United Stats, may strongly dangers the America's interests in the world. He called this war the war of Islam and the west. Soviet Union leaders have never occulted their fright from Islamic awakening. Experts in west and east believe that it was the Islamic Revolution that resulted in Islamic awakening in the world.

After the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, the restoration of Islamic civilization has been the focus of researchers. The destruction and decline of civilization and the increase of civilization awareness following the expansion of information and communication facilities following the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran and its influence on international societies are among the reasons for the importance of Islamic civilization. The personality of Imam Khomeini was a guide to the clear understanding of the spiritual dimensions of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, and the Imam led people to mystical dimensions and spiritual values with repeated warnings, and he himself was the helmsman of the Revolution in line with Islamic goals. In this article, an attempt is made to discuss the characteristics of modern Islamic civilization, including nation-oriented religion, rationalism, intellectual civilization, self-belief, Western studies, etc.In the era after the Islamic Revolution and the effort for the rule of Islam in cultural and civilization dimensions, it has led to the formation of the discourse of the new Islamic civilization. Creating and strengthening this discourse in the long term can lead to the restoration of Islamic civilization in accordance with the requirements of the present era. The most important issue of this new civilization discourse is its impact on international societies.

Islamic Revolution of Iran, as the last Revolution in 20th century and a unique Revolution in terms of historical roots, theoretical and philosophical origin as well as scope and depth of influence, four decades after its victory, has sparked scientific and philosophic contemplation as well as extensive researches. The results of these contemplations and researches gradually formed what is today known as "Islamic Revolution studies". Although some of discussions of this field of knowledge are intellectual studies pertaining to this field itself, no discussion has been made about "the philosophy of Islamic Revolution studies" yet. This article explains the necessity to study "the philosophy of Islamic Revolution studies" and clarifies its establishment as an intellectual-historical science. The article also offers definition, objectives, scope, method and some of important issues of this field as a second degree science and as a subcategory of philosophy pertaining to discussions about Islamic Revolution.
